Bullrush Shirt and GF Jeans in the grass

Now to a wardrobe essential – jeans!

Jeans used to be worn casual only, but these days they are worn everywhere.

What’s your favourite cut; straight leg, boot leg, flare??
What about the waistline; low rise or high rise on the waist?

Let’s face it, low rise can be hard to wear if you have a tummy! Muffin top (fat bulging over the top of the waist) is NEVER good. If you like to wear this style, make sure it’s not too tight, or wear a flowy top over it if you see a muffin top.

However, there are so many of you who can wear the low rise with your gorgeous trim shapes (figures). They do look awesome, especially with a great belt and your shirt tucked in.
High wasted jeans are the saviour of us with more curves (me included!); everything tucked away, nothing hanging over, this simple trick can make a world of difference in your overall look.

Now to the leg – I like to have several pairs so I have all bases covered. Also, several shades of denim; dark for more dressy occasions, and light for more casual occasions.

You can get jeans with lace, embroidery, patches, ripped, fringes and all sorts of colours!
White jeans are great, often go up a size so they are more flattering unless you have a trim figure.

Jeggings are a new concept that is great and can be extremely flattering – personally, I love them. There are so many assorted brands, we have a selection of brands and sizes instore. One of our favourites is the Gabriella Frattini range – so many different shapes and colours – there is one to suit every shape.

Just add a heel or boot for dressy occasions, and a beautiful top. Flats and a tee for a casual look.

Above and beyond all these things, my BEST advice is to get ones that fit well! If your jeans are loose, keep them for home, they just look daggy! For a sharper, dressier look, buy jeans that fit – always allowing for that little bit of stretch!

I can remember wearing my jeans so tight as a teenager, I had to lie down on the bed/floor to zip them up, grunting and sweating profusely.

Those days are long gone for me – I can still rock a good pair of jeans, I just got for a little more comfort these days.

Dare I mention camel toe (yes girls, you know what I mean)! If you don’t know what this is, google a picture of a camel’s toe – self-explanatory. It’s NEVER EVER good – don’t cut yourself in half girls and do yourself a personal injury!!

All sizes can look good in jeans worn right and fitted well.
